Happy Holidays!
Mike and Max started off Thanksgiving week by getting out of the rain and practicing in California for a few days before the Winter Nationals in Mesquite, NV.
At Mesquite Max was riding awesome. It was a great three way battle between Max, Austin Black and Pierce Brown. Until he went over the bars and sprained his thumb. We thought he might heal up in time for the Amateur Open. So Max and Mike headed to Buckeye, AZ and rested until practice day. During practice we realized that Max couldn’t hold on very well and that it was too painful.
The doctors say two weeks rest and he should be ok to ride.
Max is feeling much better now and he plans to be back practicing in a week.
After Christmas we are planning to go to Southern California to train and focus on Spring Nationals.
